User Experience Designer

Role: UX Designer

Location: Brussels BE

Language requirement: Dutch

You will work closely with the business analyst and functional analyst to develop concepts and wireframes for both the discovery and delivery phases. You will participate in workshops and translate the partners' business objectives and needs into user-friendly and accessible wireframes. You will use the Flanders Design System to ensure a consistent and recognizable user experience.

The project team uses the Agile Scrum methodology: you will work closely with the members of this multidisciplinary team. You will actively participate in scrum meetings and proactively contribute to achieving the sprint.

• Experience working with an existing design system

• Demonstrable knowledge of and experience with responsive screen design

• Demonstrable experience in creating designs with design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Invision, etc.)

• Demonstrable experience with content design: designing content-driven pages

• Demonstrable experience in implementing designs in HTML, CSS, and Javascript

• Strong experience with Figma

• Experience with UI Frameworks

• Strong experience working in a government context

• Strong experience designing an inclusive and accessible user experience

• Experience working in a scrum team/agile environment

• To the point, communicative, team player, no-nonsense & independent

• Nice to have: Experience with WCAG 2.1
